ACL Tear

What is ACL Tear?

An ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) tear is a common knee injury. It occurs with a sudden change in direction or pivot against a locked knee. Women are more likely to tear their ACL because of differences in anatomy and muscle function. It may take 6 – 9 months to recover fully from an ACL tear.
